Dress to Impress....Yourself.

A real Glamour Girl loves dressing up for herself. She doesn't save all of her finery for only special occasions. Set the mood with music, light those candles, pour you favorite beverage, strike a pose, and play with your hair. Practice paying attention to your own needs. Experience the real beauty of indulgence. Start with yourself, and the world will see a true picture of you. Ahhh....primping and lounging never felt so good.

The Plus Factor....

Characterized as an attractive "fluffy" girl, (stole that term from my GYN) I've been told from time to time that I should model. Never had the guts or confidence to pursue it. Although society has become more tolerant, the world still has a long way to go in weight acceptance. A stigma still remains. Meanwhile, there's been an influx of surgical body contouring to mimic the very curves, so many are criticizing. Today's curvy models are tagged with the unglamorous, "plus-size" title. Yet, they are the average size of the American woman. The perfect, pleasingly plump, (to coin an old phrase) size for me. I envy, admire, and applaud their courage in exposing themselves to scrutiny, while representing the labels placed upon them. Here, I celebrate and glamourize the beauty of our curves, no matter what popular opinion dictates.
